Leadership

As members of Alpha Phi, women have opportunities to get involved in chapter leadership from the moment they join. From committees in each of Alpha Phis programming areas (chapter operations, program development, recruitment and marketing) to holding an elected office, there are many ways for new members to get involved. Alpha Phi’s are also involved in many on-campus and off-campus clubs and activities. From campus executive boards to local non-profits, we can be seen making a difference on our campus and in our community.

Emerging Leaders Institute

In addition to supporting sisters inside the classroom, Alpha Phi develops and supports its sisters to become leaders outside of the classroom both within campus and on a national level. Sisters have held leadership positions on campus that range from publications to student government.

To further hone in on their leadership ability, Alpha Phi International hosts the Emerging Leaders Institute (ELI) each year. ELI is a five-day intensive opportunity for freshmen and sophomore women to define their voice, identify their leadership skills and abilities, and learn how to impact their chapter and their community.

This past summer, the Chi chapter sent Trisha Searcy to ELI.
