Scholarship

Just as the founding sisters placed high values on academics, the sisters of the Chi chapter of Alpha Phi emphasize the importance of scholarship. Scholarship makes up a major portion of each woman’s college experience, and thus is placed at high priority within the chapter. Our chapter assists in providing its sisters help and opportunities in a multitude of ways.
As a member of Alpha Phi, each sister is encouraged and supported by a wide network of academic resources. Our scholarship programs include weekly study hours, peer tutoring, study buddies and mentoring. As well, each sister must maintain a specified GPA in order to be an active member. Sisters who reach President’s and Dean’s list are rewarded with special events at the end of each semester.
In order for academics to be the highest priority, the Alpha Phi Foundation and the Chi Chapter Scholarship Fund provide scholarships, grants and loans to sisters who are seeking financial help.
We would like to congratulate the following members on winning Greek related or Alpha Phi scholarships this year!
